In this guide, we will help you on how to set ERC TYPE 3 on CAS PDN-15 weight scale step by step.

Step 1: Initial Setup

1. Turn off the scale.
2. Hold down the ZERO (0) button.
3. While holding the ZERO (0) button, turn the scale back on.
4. Release the ZERO (0) button when you hear a beep. The weight screen should now display “U SET.”

Step 2: Select Type 3

1. Press the ZERO (0) button to view the type settings.
2. Use the TARE (T) button to cycle through the types until you reach Type 3.
3. Once on Type 3, press the ZERO (0) button to save the selection.

Step 3: Configure ECR Function

1. The scale will display a list of functions.
2. If “ECR” is already selected, simply press the ZERO (0) button to save it.
3. If “ECR” is not selected, use the TARE (T) button to navigate to “ECR,” then press the ZERO (0) button to save it.

Step 4: Save Settings

1. The scale will confirm if you want to save the settings on Type 3.
2. Press the ZERO (0) button to verify.
3. The scale will then prompt you to save all the settings you’ve configured.
4. Press the ZERO (0) button to save all settings and complete the process.

And that’s it! Your CAS PDN-15 weight scale should now be set to ECR Type 3.
